The HunGar Co-Lab is a research collaborative focused on studying hunter-gatherer behaviors during the Pleistocene-Holocene transition. Central to this research are questions related to the timing and context of the initial human colonization of unfamiliar landscapes. This research collaborative and lab has three goals:

(1) To further refine the context and chronology of Pleistocene human migrations.

(2) To develop a better understanding of human-environment relationships and the impacts humans had on Pleistocene ecosystems.

(3) To train students and provide them opportunities for field and laboratory work, while also fostering public outreach by working with citizen scientists in the local community.
